Neu-Ulm University Authorities Visit Center for Health Information Monitoring in Mashhad

Some professors at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Germany, visited Center for Health Information Monitoring at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, WEBDA reported.

The visit was paid to explore abilities of the Iranian university in sphere of electronic health record.

Head of Center for Health Information Monitoring, Zahra Izadi, Ph.D., noted, “The center was established late last year in order to quantitatively and qualitatively control the related services.”

“The center will gather data and will create link among technical and environmental teams in Health Center.”

Creating the link among technical and environmental teams will, ultimately, promote quantity and quality of the provided services, according to Dr. Izadi.

“Here, provided services will be registered and analyzed based on electronic health information record and intervening programs will be planned aimed at boosting the society’s health.”

Visiting scientific and therapeutic centers at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Faculty Members at the German university as well as members at Departments of Health Management, Information Management, and Economics were informed of capabilities of the Iranian university.
