Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Ranks First in Dealing with Health Complaints

During the implementation of Nowruz (New Year) Health Program, Directorate of Environmental and Occupational Health of MUMS Office of Vice President for Health ranked first among comparable universities in the number of addressed reports and complaints.

According to Webda, Director of Environmental and Occupational Health Center of the Office of Vice President for Health said, "Nowruz Health Program was implemented from Esfand 1st last year until Farvardin 15 this year (19th February-4th April, 2017) with the goal of preserving and improving the health of Norouz travelers and of food safety at the supply side, and in order to reduce and control food-related diseases.”

Mr. Ali Asghar Hasani added, “Controlling drinking water systems, restaurants, hotels, urban and roadside caterings, parks, recreation centers, and foodstuff preparation and distribution centers were the main targets of environmental health inspectors in this program.”
