The Highest Award of Professor Yalda’s Congress Granted to Two Faculty Members from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

In the 7^th round of Professor Yalda’s Congress, the highest award was granted to two faculty members in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

According to WebDa, this award was granted to Dr. AbdolAli Kharazmi and Dr. MohammadHadi Amirian, faculty members in Pediatric Department of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in the 7^th round of this congress to celebrate and honor Professor Alireza Yalda and the International Congress of Updates on Research Findings on Molecular, Cellular, and Clinical Medicine Sciences, which was held with the collaborations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ Alumni and Dr. Yalda’s  World Scientific Foundation.

In Dr. Yalda’s International Foundation of Medical Sciences, the board of referees granted this award to these faculty members of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences as to their outstanding teaching experience, influential research, medical ethics and social responsibility. This award is conventionally granted to those who have founded a major in medical sciences and have manifested phenomenal activities and particular services in their career in the scope of medical sciences or those who have done national and international innovations and researches, the result of which have provided services for patients for many years.

In an interview with the news correspondence of WebDa, Dr. Abdolali Kharazmi asserted: I owe this honor to the professors and veterans of the university and my family’s support, especially my beloved wife.

The 7^th International Congress of Updates on Research Findings on Molecular, Cellular, and Clinical Medicine Sciences (Professor Yalda’s Congress) started in Emam Hall on Monday October 17^th 2016, featuring the professors and national and international elites and ended on Thursday evening October 20^th.

This annual congress of Updates on Research Findings in Medical Sciences (Professor Yalda’s Congress) is among the few congresses that is held embracing most majors in medical sciences. Among the unique features of the congress is gathering specialists from various scopes in medical sciences aiming at updating them about the most recent research in other scopes of their fields. Apart from this, various medical issues are presented by outstanding prominent professors in this congress, and of course,  the major orientation is considering medical ethics.

In fact naming the congress after Professor Yalda serves the purpose of higher emphasis on medical ethics than other issues as Dr. Yalda was known all over the country as the epitome of medical ethics. The congress that is held under his name must definitely emphasize morality in medicine. He is the first Iranian medical doctor and professor to receive the scientific award of Iranian Hall of Fame.
