A Conference on Pneumocystis Pneumonia Was Held with Retraining Score

The Scientific Conference on Pneumocystis Pneumonia was held in Ghaem (AJ) Therapeutics Educational Research Center, a center affiliated to Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

According to WEBDA, the Scientific Secretary of the conference stated that this conference was held on July 13^th, 2017, 10:00 to 12:00, in Shahid Pendy Hall of Ghaem (AJ) Hospital on clinical aspects, clinical symptoms and necessary care of pneumocystis pneumonia, a review of pneumocystis pneumonia studies in Mashhad, pneumocystis pneumonia laboratory diagnosis and ways of transmission, pneumocystis pneumonia treatment and prophylaxis and clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnosis and treatment of pneumocystis pneumonia.

In an interview with WEBDA, Dr. Reza Basiri stated that this conference was held given the possibility of pneumocystis pneumonia for patients taking long-term corticosteroids with doses higher than 15-20 mg, patients with immunodeficiency, organ transplantation, leukemia, and HIV.

He added that these patients are prone to pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) and will experience shortness of breath and low blood oxygen if they are left untreated.

The Scientific Secretary of the Conference on Cystic Pneumonia stated that at this conference, attended by internists, infection specialists, pediatricians, pulmonologists, medical laboratory scientists, parasitologists, transplantation partners, and those colleagues dealing with patients suffering from immunodeficiency, it is attempted to remind these patients about the significance of prescription.

Dr. Basiri reiterated that there is the possibility of preventing and treating this disease through the prescription of medications, and those collaborators dealing with these patients should consider necessary care to prevent this type of infection.

He finally stated that this conference, including retraining score, is of great significance due to problems caused by Cystic Pneumonia infection for patients’ lungs.
