Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Mostafa Mehrabi, PhD, was honored by Hasan Rouhani at Civil-Health Festival for developing 1,200 hospital beds in the last four years, WEBDA reported.

Rouhani stated that Government’s principal aim in health area is to prevent disease, adding, “Despite significant decrease in oil revenues, administrating Health Transformation Plan was of primary importance for the 11th government.”

“We will continue construction and development of the nation supported by people, Supreme Leader and the government’s experts,” he said, adding, “Our main goal is to boost our country as well as our national interests thereby we should help each other to reach this goal.”

Saying that Dr. Hashemi, Minister of Health, is one of the most hardworking ministers of the 11^th government, President noted, “Administrating Health Transformation Plan will continue in the 12^th government.”

Health-Civil Festival with the purpose of qualitatively improving civil issues in health sphere was held attended by the Majlis representatives, general governors as well as deputies for health at universities of medical sciences faculties.
