Completion of Health-Treatment Network in Urban Areas and

Increased Service Availability

The Deputy of Hygiene Administration in the Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education, Dr. Sayyari considered the completion of health and treatment network in urban areas and increased access to the services as the most important achievements in the scope of hygiene.

According to WebDa, in the ceremony of Modern Healthcare Network Completion Program in Metropolitans held in Mashhad, Dr. Sayyari said: at the moment, all urban areas and metropolitans except Tehran, access to services is provided, and people are benefiting from the this program’s outcome.

Emphasizing that in the execution of Modern Healthcare System, all age groups will benefit from the particular services of their own group, he added: with the measures undertaken, electronic health-profiles are currently being executed in the framework of SIB and SINA systems. There are efforts to complement these till the end of the office for the 11^th government.

The Deputy of Hygiene Administration in the Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education spoke of another measure undertaken which is the extension of the physical space and creating 2400 hygiene-related projects and asserted: at the moment, 2500 hygiene-related project are being executed in various regions in the country.

Stressing the fact that non-contagious diseases are the major factors of death in the country, Dr. Sayyari said: along with this, a programs is compiled to take measures to prevent non-contagious diseases which is also implemented as a pilot study in 4 cities and would soon be executed all through the country.

“Creating a referral system is a program for which we are attempting to take some measures”, said he, “A requirement for referral system is executing family doctor program in urban areas. With the measures undertaken so far, we are looking forward to substantiating these programs in the country”.

The Deputy of Hygiene Administration in the Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education appreciated the supports from the Supreme Leader, the presidential government, and the ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education, and asserted: with the considerations and credits allocated to the hygiene administration, we witness increased access to services for people, health promotion and increased life expectancy.

Emphasizing that the concerns of social harms have always been stressed by the supreme leader, he pointed out that: we should attempt to decrease social harms through empowering the public and increasing officials’ support and support from people themselves.

Regarding to the development of modern health services in urban areas and metropolitans, except Tehran, Dr. Sayyari asserted: today in all cities and metropolitans of Mashhad, Tabriz, Qom, Esfahan and Karaj, access to services is made possible, for which we appreciate the executive officials.

In the end, he admired the endeavors of the president of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the deputy administrator of the university for the fulfillment of hygiene related programs and the university’s advances in executing these programs.
