Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Faculty Member: Awarded the Title of Distinguished Researcher of 2016

A faculty member of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences received the award in medicine at The Seventeenth Festival on Distinguished Technologists and Researchers (2016).

According to Webda, thanks to his outstanding research activities and winning prestigious titles from Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences, Dr. Ramin Sadeghi, associate professor of Department of Nuclear Medicine at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, was awarded as the distinguished researcher in medicine in 2016 at The Seventeenth Festival on Distinguished Technologists and Researchers, which was held at Shahid Beheshti University with the presence of the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, as well as President’s Deputy for Science and Technology.

Having published more than 190 papers in international authoritative scientific journals, working with different departments in the area of systematic literature review, obtaining famous titles from Razi Festival, and earning the title of Distinguished Researcher at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences are among Dr. Sadeghi’s major achievements. 

Pointing out that the bulk of research activities in the fields of nuclear medicine and lymph nodes is original, Dr. Sadeghi, in an interview with WebDa, stated that: in addition, cooperation has been made with other departments in the area of systematic literature review, and we have so far published between 30 to 40 articles.

This faculty member of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences believed it is crucial to perform research activities alongside training, and he said: research is fundamental to the development of the country, and if a faculty member reaches a new scientific conclusion, he has to record and publish it. 

The associate professor of Nuclear Medicine at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences highlighted that: if research is neglected, education would inevitably be incomplete.
