Organizing Educational Workshop to Promote Environmental Health of Hospitals

The educational workshops for promotion of the environmental health of the hospitals have been held in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

These workshops have been held in Shahid DaliriGol Hall of the health department to promote awareness levels of experts in environmental health, particularly the health experts in hospitals covered by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in order to improve the management of medical wastes in hospitals, as reported by WEBDA.  

Director of Environmental Health and Occupational Health Departments of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said that the safety of medical wastes and the promotion of environmental health of hospitals are the issues that require the special attention of hospital administrators and experts in the field.  

Ali Asghar Hasani, an expert, explained the purposes and policies of the Occupational Environmental Health Center of the Ministry of Health in promoting the environmental health of hospitals calling for the cooperation between experts and administrators of hospitals. 

The performance of safety instruments and the way of using them associated with the safe operation were the main topics addressed in the workshop by Ali Asghar Hasani, the representative of Environment Organization and by Mr Rezai, the representative of Waste Management Organization.
