Five New Hospitals for 2017
Five New Hospitals Are to Be Operationalized in This Year
Dr. Modaghegh, the deputy of Treatment of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences asserted: till the end of March 2017, five new hospital projects will be operationalized in the regions under supervision of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.
According to WebDa, Dr. Modaghegh spoke about the operationalization of Alavi Hospital with 120 beds in June 2016 and pointed out: the projects of 540-bed Imam Reza Hospital and Pediatric subspecialty hospital are also in their final stages and would be inaugurated till March 2017.
“Also in other cities of the province, the projects of Khalilabad, Roshtkhaar and Fariman Hospitals are in their final stages, and we expect they will come into operation till March 2017”, he added.
Moreover, Dr. Modaghegh spoke about the measures undertaken in the framework of Health Reform Plan and said: from March 2015 to now, 150 intensive care beds of CCU, ICU, and NICU have been provided in treatment centers of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, which is considered an influential step in presenting health services to the patients.
“Providing each intensive care bed with all equipment and the required space costs almost 140 thousand dollars”, he added.
The deputy of Treatment of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences spoke of developing exclusive VIP clinics as another measure undertaken by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences along with Health Reform Plan and asserted: these plans, which are under construction with the endeavors of the university’s technical director, would be inaugurated till the end of March 2017 in Mashhad and other cities under this supervision.
Furthermore, Dr. Modaghegh mentioned the project of developing emergency departments and stated: this plan would be executed in three hospitals: Taleghani, Shahid Kamyab and Shahid Hasheminejad.
“The first phase of Taleghani hospital’s emergency department has already got operationalized, and the second phase is also in its final stages. The projects of emergency departments of Shahid Hasheminejad and Shahid Kamyab, on the other hand, are in evaluation and planning stages”, added he.
