Information Council Established at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

Information Council was set up at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences aimed at providing communicative tools, WEBDA reported. 

Its other goals include benefiting from collective wisdom, having cohesion in information process, determining media policies, having accuracy and tact in methods of news interaction, making right decisions in critical times, and codifying news policies.

Consequently, Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Mostafa Mehrabi Bahar, PhD, appointed Director of Public Relations at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences Ail Emadzadeh, PhD, as the secretary of Information Council.

Establishing Information Council’s secretariat, regularly setting up its meetings, codifying the university’s informing method of letter, regularly providing reports to the council’s members, identifying weak points as well as media threats, and, finally, codifying agenda were defined as the secretary’s duties. 

Also, Information Council’s members at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences were appointed by Dr. Mehrabi Bahar.

The university’s Deputy for Education Dr. Darabi, Deputy for Dr. Bahrami, Deputy for Research Dr. Tafaghodi, Deputy for Management Development and Resources Dr. Bahraini, Deputy for Culture Dr. Ebrahimi, Deputy for Therapy Dr. Badiei, Deputy for Food And Drug Dr. Sharif Saberi, Director of Preservation Mr Vasei, Director of Legal Affairs Mr Khiabani, Director of Inspection, Assessment and Responding to Complaints Dr. Sharif Razavian, and Director of IT Statistics Dr. Tabesh are the council’s members.

Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences wished that the best collective approach could be applied to national health.
