Along with the plan for providing 21 thousand hospital beds, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences provided and extended one thousand and two hundred hospital beds and succeeded to achieve the highest rank among all Medical Sciences Universities of the country

According to WebDa, these projects are built within the least possible time and with high standards and quality under the supervision of the Technical Management of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

Some of the many hospital projects executed in the four recent years in the regions covered by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences are: 610-bed Imam Reza hospital, Akbar Sub-Specialist Pediatric Hospital, Imam Khomeini Hospital of Dargaz, 32-bed hospital of Bakhzar and KhaliliAbad, and 64-bed Fariman Hospital.

Executing these projects have created a drastic change, actually a revolution, in offering services to the pilgrims and the residents of the neighboring cities of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (UWBP).

In addition to providing hospital beds, numerous development plans and projects are executed in the scope of Health and Treatment in the regions covered by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Among these are constructing Exclusive Clinics, Delivery Blocks, developing Hospital Emergency Departments, Pre-Hospital Emergency Stations, Health Houses and Stations and Comprehensive Health Services Centers.

Accordingly, in a convention held in International Conference Hall of Summits featuring the President and the Minister of Health and Medical Education, the Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences was acknowledged for all efforts done in developing hospital beds.

Besides this convention, an exhibition titled as Health Development was held about the development measures and strengths in the scope of Health in Medical Sciences Universities. In his visit of the cubicle of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the Minister of Health and Medical Education admired all the efforts while being informed of the plans under execution by this universit
