Nursing Manager, Dr. Erva Evis, and Nursing Advisor at WHO Regional Office, Dr. Fariba Al-Darazi, visited Comprehensive Urban Health Services Center as well as Nursing Faculty at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, WEBDA reported.

The one-day visit was aimed at studying nursing policies and educational processes in this area. The visiting team also explored whether nursing policies in Iran are codified based on global strategies of WHO Regional Office.

Visiting Comprehensive Urban Health Services Center II, some information was given to the team on the provided services, the supported population, and the people’s health in Mashhad.

Afterwards, Dr. Evis and Dr. Al-Darazi visited Nursing Faculty at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and assessed its development.

The visit was followed by a special meeting attended by officials at the faculty and some information was given on research, treatment and training conditions of nursing.
