Regional Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory of the University Receives Top Rank from Swedish Transnational Laboratory

The Regional TuberculosisReferenceLaboratory of MUMS Office of Vice President for Health was awarded top rank and accreditation certificate by a Swedish Transnational Laboratory for the fifth consecutive year.

According to Webda, these were awarded for proficiency evaluation panel and drug sensitivity assessment for the first line of treatment (including isoniazid, rifampicin and ethambutol) in tuberculosis patients.
