The Seminar of Updates on Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor Treatment to Be Held in Mashhad

The scientific Seminar of Updates on Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) Treatment is going to be held in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

According to WebDa, a faculty member of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the scientific chairman of the seminar, Dr. Ali Taghizadeh, stated: “this scientific seminar accompanied with the Workshop of Nursing Considerations in Chemotherapy and Target-Therapy is to be held in September 22^nd (Mehr 1^st) on Homa Hotel-2 in Mashhad, coordinated by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran, Clinical Oncology Association, Cancer Research Center and Cancer Surgery Research Center.

Dr. Taghizadeh indicated that: “The participants of this seminar consist of professors of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in the fields of Clinical Oncology (Radio-therapy oncology), Surgery, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Pathology and Nuclear Medicine.

It should be mentioned that stromal tumors are among the most prevalent mesenchymal tumors in digestive system.
