The Establishment of Two Service and Construction Projects in Taleghani Hospital of Mashhad with the Efforts of Benefactors

With the efforts of health benefactors, two service and construction projects were put into operation in Taleghani Educational, Research, and Treatment Center, a center affiliated to Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

On the margins of the inauguration of these projects, the Head of Taleghani Educational, Research, and Treatment Center stated in an interview with WEBDA that the Emergency Station 115, with the ability to deploy ambulances and ambulance buses as well as the “Hamraah Saraa” project (a place for accommodation of patient attendants), is among the projects put into operation with the efforts of health benefactors.

Dr. Vejdani pointed out that these projects have been constructed in an area of 540 square meters at a cost of more than 9 billion Rials.

He considered the construction of the Emergency Station 115, for providing services in the west of Mashhad, as an essential step in delivering services to the people of this region. He added that with the establishment of this station and deployment of ambulances and the Emergency 115 forces, delivery of services to patients, especially road accident victims, will be accelerated.

The Head of Taleghani Educational, Research, and Treatment Center reiterated that the “Hamraah Saraa” of this center has been constructed in the form of 5 suites. Given the fact that most of the road accident patients of this center are hospitalized for a long time, he considered the construction of this project as very important and effective in providing the patients’ families with welfare services and mental relief.

Pointing to the role of health benefactors in the development and construction of this hospital since establishment, Dr. Vejdani stated that health benefactors play an effective role in the implementation of major projects of this center, and according to the hospital comprehensive plan, a meeting is held with health benefactors every week and the requirements of the center as well as the planned projects are presented.

He reiterated that the “the Backup Supplementary” has now been launched with the efforts of health benefactors for the establishment of departments of cardiology, intensive care (ICU), and gynecology, on which one billion Rials has been spent.

Pointing to the other projects under construction in this hospital, the Head of Taleghani Educational, Research, and Treatment Center stated that the Special Clinic Project is being constructed in an area of 1500 square meters consisting of 60 rooms and will be soon put into operation based on the planning.

He pointed out that in addition to the establishment of specialized clinics, in this center, patients will be provided with paraclinical services such as colonoscopy, endoscopy, mammography, ultrasound, radiology, laboratory, and physiotherapy.

According to Dr. Vejdani, the establishment of second phase of the Emergency Department Project of Taleghani Hospital in an area of 1200 square meters in two floors including 5 operating rooms and 27 observation beds is among the other major projects being constructed in this center.
