The Holy City of Mashhad Hosts the First International Conference on Halal Products

The First International Conference of Halal products, hosted by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, will be held at the national/regional level in December this year with the aim of expanding the culture of Halal Products.

According to WEBDA, in line with the selection and introduction of the holy city of Mashhad as the cultural capital of the Islamic world in 2017, the need to expand the culture of Halal products at the national/regional level, and given the memorandum of understanding concluded between the Deputy Minister, the Head of the Food and Drug Administration, and the presidents of grand universities in District 9 of the country, The First International Conference of Halal products, hosted by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, will be held in December this year.

The Head of the Food and Drug Administration of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and the Conference Executive Secretary, Dr. Mohammad Reza Saberi stated that considering that the issue of Halal products in the area of food and medicine will include any Halal-related issues, the organization of this international conference on Halal products will be a national and provincial effort in which the associated secretariats of the universities as well as the scientific, executive, and theological departments will participate.

The Executive Secretary of the Conference of Halal Products pointed out that during the series of meetings of the executive and scientific committees of the First International Conference of Halal Products, attended by the Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader at the university, the Deputy of Food and Drug Administration and Food and Drug Administration directors, representatives from the Governorate General, the Health and Food Security Committee of the province, the Municipality, the Agricultural Jihad Organization, the Organization of Industry, Mining and Trade, the Veterinary Organization, the General Directorate of Economics and Finance, the General Directorate of Standard, the Association of Industrial Directors, the Association of Pharmacists, etc., the topics of the conference were discussed and Sharia and Halal products, research, technology and Halal products, and the economics of Halal products were determined as the main topics of the First International Conference of Halal Products hosted by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.
