WHO Is Ready to Cooperate with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

Representative of World Health Organization (WHO), Samen Sedighi, PhD, appreciated the efforts (basic studies as well as clinical interferences) by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in organizing the accomplished International Congress of Nutrition, WEBDA reported.

In a letter to Mostafa Mehrabi Bahar, PhD, Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Sedighi honored efforts of the university, in particular, of Executive Committee for International Congress of Nutrition, as well as Dr. Majid Ghayour-Mobarhan, Faculty Member at the university.

“The largest achievement of the congress was to launch a national nutrition network and to achieve an international agreement on planning to solve nutritional challenges in Iran.”
