Holding of a Workshop on Environmental Health Promotion of Hospitals

Workshop on Environmental Health Promotion of Hospitals was held in the Health Department of Mashhad University of Medical Science.

According to WEBDA, this workshop was held in Shahid Daliri Gol hall of Health Department aiming at promoting the awareness level of environmental health of experts, especially those who are involved in the hospitals under the supervision of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences and intending to promote and improve medical wastes management of hospitals.

Environmental and occupational health director of this department stated that detoxification of medical wastes and Environmental Health Promotion of Hospitals are issues that require special attention of directors and experts of this field.

Ali Asghar Hassani explaining the goals and policies of the environmental and occupational health center of the ministry as promoting environmental health of hospitals emphasized on the requirement of the cooperation between hospitals’ managers and experts.

The function of detoxifying machines, how to use them as well as issues related to the detoxification operation were the main topics that Mr Abdollahizadeh, the Representative of Environmental Protection Agency, and Mr Rezaee, the Representative of Waste Management Organization addressed the attendees in this workshop.
