Institutional Overview

Taleghani Center for Accident and Emergency Operations is the leading tertiary trauma, orthopedic surgery, and road-accident hospital in Khorasan Razavi Province, operating under Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS).

Construction began in late 2005 (1384) following approval by the Provincial Administrative Council to address the urgent need for emergency trauma centers at Mashhad’s highway gateways. On September 3, 2007 (September 12, 1386), the center officially opened as the province’s first highway accident hospital. In 2012 (1391), following Phase II expansion, it was designated as an Educational, Research, and Treatment Center.

The hospital holds National Grade-One Accreditation, an official International Patients Department (IPD) permit, and features the only hospital helipad in Mashhad for rapid air ambulance reception and transfer.
