A Legacy of Excellence

The School of Pharmacy of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences holds a proud legacy as a foundational pillar of pharmaceutical education in Iran. Established in 1971 under the title of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nutrition, the school has continuously evolved to meet the dynamic needs of the health system. For over five decades, our institution has remained dedicated to the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring that the principles of service and ethics remain at the core of our educational and research endeavors.

Evolution and Growth

Following its establishment, the faculty underwent significant structural and academic development. In 1982, the school moved to its current location on the main campus of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, facilitating closer integration with the broader medical community. Since then, the school has rapidly expanded its academic portfolio, currently hosting 9 specialized doctoral programs and a master’s program in Toxicology. Today, we stand as a premier scientific hub, consistently monitoring our educational performance and fostering robust national and regional collaborations with influential industries and research foundations.
