Institutional Overview
Akbar Pediatric Educational, Research, and Medical Center is a specialized tertiary pediatric hospital serving patients from across northeastern Iran. The center was officially inaugurated in 2017 in Mashhad and provides comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical services for patients from birth through 18 years of age.
Approximately 60% of the center was funded by the Sarvar Charity Foundation. In November 2019, the center received its academic license from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME), establishing its role as an academic pediatric healthcare and training center.
