Welcome to the Department of Physiology at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Physiology is fundamental to understanding human health and disease, providing the scientific foundation for all medical education and biomedical research. Overview

Founded in 1949, the Department of Physiology is one of the oldest and most established academic units at the Mashhad School of Medicine. Since gaining independence in 1985, the department has been dedicated to the pursuit of physiological knowledge, training generations of scientists, researchers, and physicians. We serve as a fundamental pillar of medical education at the university, providing comprehensive instruction in medical physiology across a diverse range of faculties, including Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing.
