Health Assessment Plan Carried Out at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

Along with registration of new students at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, their health was assessed by Deputy for Health co-venturing with Deputy for Students and Culture at the university, WEBDA reported.

Director of Population’s Health, Family and Schools at Deputy for Health at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Hamed Ghazavi, PhD, said that Health Assessment Plan for new students was carried out along with their registration.

“It was anticipated that health of 1,800 students would be assessed by this plan.”

Outlining preventing onset and exacerbation of diseases, studying prevalence of various physical and mental disorders and forming youth’s health record as the objectives of the plan, he maintained, “Physical and psychological health, nutritional behaviors along with full medical examinations are among the items that have been evaluated in this plan. Suspicious cases of post-diagnosis disorder are referred to clinics and specialized centers.”
