Seminar Meeting of Medical Charities with Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences

A seminar meeting was held between medical charities and the Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in order to discuss problems and enhance quantitative and qualitative services.

According to WebDa, this meeting was held with the presence of Dr Mehrabi Bahar, the Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr Khodayi, Vice-Chancellor of the university for social participation, insurance deputies of Health Insurance Administration and Treatment Deputy of Social Security Organization as well as Manager of Treatment Monitor in the university and 50 directors and members of charity boards of directors.

Vice-Chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences for Social Participation said: having 6 hospitals and 27 charity clinics, Mashhad is regarded as a hub for medical charities in the country.

Dr Khodayi added: over many years, these centers have provided adequate health care services for the neighbors and pilgrims of Imam Reza.

In this meeting, besides welcoming the university initiative to discuss problems and suggest ways to develop charity acts, directors of charity institutions requested continuation of such meetings in a quarterly basis.

Formation of a specialized workgroup for implementing suggestions (composed of 2 representatives from charity clinics, one representative from charity hospitals, representatives of Treatment Deputy of the University, health insurance treatment deputies of social security organization, with the responsibility of Vice-Chancellor of the university in NGOs, social participation and health charities) were among the enactments of this meeting.
