Starting Mashhad Assembly of Health Donors

Electing the CEO, Mashhad Assembly of Health Donors officially began its work.

Followed by the holding of the General Assembly in the first Board of Directors’ meeting in which the chancellor of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences took part, Alireza Kolahan, member of board of directors, was elected as the CEO of Mashhad Assembly of Health Donors, as reported Web Da.

Moreover, in this meeting, Dr. Gholamreza Basiripour was elected as the Chairman of the Board and Dr. Abdollah Bahrami was elected vice chairman.

Previously, the majority of the members elected Mr. Jahanbani and Mr. Doroudi as inspectors of this assembly.

Mashhad Assembly of Health Donors was founded with the aim of organizing donors’ activities in the areas of health, treatment and developing treatment facilities in various areas of Mashhad and to promote health in the society, especially among low income classes.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of Mashhad Assembly of Health Donors pointed to development of health care centers, especially in the marginalized areas of Mashhad as the main priority of this assembly.

Dr. Gholamreza Basiripour stated: fortunately, health donors have taken considerable measures up to now and we hope they continue these measures more consistently and more purposefully.

Insisting that health donors should spend time for the geography of Mashhad, he said: this assembly should find solutions to eliminate problems due to concentration of medical facilities in the center of the city.

Dr. Basiripour pointed out that: we should identify the researches done so far in this regard as well as areas in need of facilities, especially in the marginalized areas of the city, and take the necessary measures and planning.
