The Fight against Contraband Cosmetic and Hygienic Goods in Supply is Enforced

The plan to fight against contraband of cosmetic and hygienic products is enforced in Mashhad city with the presence of representatives from Food and Drug Administration of the university.

According to WebDa, along with protecting public health, the plan to fight against contraband of cosmetic and hygienic products in supply, stock and exhibition became enforced and is executed in 26 Cosmetic and Hygienic products’ stock, supply, exhibition and shops with the presence of representatives from Food and Drug Administration of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, the Organization of Industry, Mining and Commerce, the Governmental Organization of Punishment for Offenses and Discretion of Rules, the Organization of Supervision on Public and Commercial Places, the Organization of Fighting against Smuggled Goods and Foreign Currency in the province, Special Forces Unit, Police Stations, etc.

The director of the department of supervision on food, nutrition, hygienic and cosmetic products affiliated to Food and Drug Administration of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Aliasghar Esmaeilzadeh stated: the program of fighting against contraband hygienic and cosmetic products is executed in two shopping centers that stock, distribute, exhibit and sell cosmetic and hygienic products. The process is done with the patrolling of the organizations involved in the matter and observing the legal and canonical regulations along with the execution of the enactments of information and operation committee of the Provincial Commission of Collaboration, Programing and Supervision on Fighting against Contraband Goods and Foreign Currency, the Commission of Fighting against Contraband Goods and Foreign Currency affiliated to Mashhad City’s State Office, and along with the command of the deputy of the Islamic Revolution Department of Justice of Mashhad City.

Dr. Esmaeilzadeh pointed out that: five operational teams comprising of the organizations involved in the execution of this plan visited a total of 23 units of the guild and three warehouses of cosmetic and hygienic products. The items suspicious to be smuggled were recognized and confiscated.

It is worth noting that the confiscated items are transferred to the police organization of fighting against contraband to be handed in to the Governmental Organization of Punishment for Offenses and Discretion of Rules after recording, creating a profile and judicial pronouncement.
