Inaugurating Taleghani Hospital’s Emergency Department with the Minister of Health and Hygiene

Concomitant to government week, the emergency department of Mashhad Taleghani Center of Education, Research and Treatment was inaugurated with the presence of the minister of health, hygiene and Medical Education.

According to WebDa, the manager of Mashhad Taleghani Center of Education, Research and Treatment affiliated to Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Ehsan Soltani asserted in inauguration proceedings that this 17-bed new emergency department was established with a cost of fifteen billion Rials.

“This department has the capacity to respond to medical emergencies of 300 patients; mostly wounded and damaged in road accidents”, he added.

Dr. Soltani indicated: “funded by the budget of Ministry of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education in line with emergency ward standardization in the country, the construction of this ward started in last September ”.

“Funded by the budget allocated to the country’s emergency ward standardization, Taleghani Hospital of Mashhad is the first in the country whose emergency department is established within a short period of time”, he added.

The manager of Taleghani Hospital states: “the second phase of expansions in the emergency department of Mashhad Taleghani Hospital will be inaugurated in Bahman 22^nd this year (January 10^th 2017) with 22 beds”.

After the inauguration ceremony of Mashhad Taleghani Hospital, the secretary of Health, Hygiene and Medical Education had a visit on the executive operations of Ghaem Hospital of Mashhad.
